These drivers have been removed from NVIDIA's website due to these customer reports. We have also asked all partners to remove this driver. Hot on the heels of 196.75 (har har) comes 196.86 Beta 64bit found at Dell. They state that the long awaited DPC Latency fixes are included in these. No word on heat issues with these so far but be cautious.

This looks more promising, plenty of USB ports (incl USB 3.0) the 14" (8440p) has no USB 3.0 support, 15.6 with an OK resolution for the size.

NVIDIA Quadro NVS5100 should do alright in desktop applications, and the occasional game.
The 8440p comes with a Quadro NVS3100, this will be very entry level stuff, but pretty good for a 14" very portable Notebook.
Overall not a bad machine in my books.

To continue the trend of drivers we missed, it seems Sony has posted some 64bit Hybrid Graphics drivers (188.49) for the New Vaio Z. Being Hybrid Graphics drivers these of course include both Intel and Nvidia drivers in the same package.
